In our pursuit of innovative machinery, our in-house engineering team designed and manufactured the Thermal Reticulation System, a reticulation machine with state-of-the-art design and safety features.
Joyce is the only manufacturer of a Thermal Reticulation System in the southern hemisphere and we have become a global supplier to foam manufacturers in Taiwan, China, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Japan, South Korea and the United States.

The unique Joyce Thermal Reticulation System allows the gas mixture to travel through the entire foam block before igniting the mixture. This reduces unreticulated areas which would otherwise require further reticulation.

A gas blanket is formed around the foam to minimise the effect of the blast on the chamber during reticulation. It minimises stress on the chamber’s walls and reduces damage over time.
The blanket also reduces scorching of the foam block. This reduces the need to trim the reticulated block, reducing foam wastage.

Upon entering the block size in the control panel, the system automatically calculates gas levels and reticulation time, minimising human error and ensuring consistent reticulation across all blocks.

During foam reticulation, pressure disperses uniformly along the rounded walls of the system. This reduces stress concentrations on the chamber, compared to square chambers which experience uneven pressure distribution.

The Thermal Reticulation System features a large chamber which allows manufacturers to process larger blocks faster and more efficiently.

The pressure sensor stops the chamber door from unlocking in the presence of positive pressure, ensuring operator safety. The door is unlocked only after the chamber releases this pressure.

Free from keyboards and unnecessary buttons, the touch-screen control panel provides the operator with a clear view of the entire process. The interface is intuitive and makes the reticulation system simple and user-friendly.
